Extending the carriage arm
Press down the carriage arm release lever to extend the
carriage arm.
q Carriage arm release lever
w Carriage arm
Swing out the carriage arm until it locks in the fully
extended position.
CAUTION:
Do not push on the carriage arm when it is extended.
Do not force to move the carriage or carriage arm by
hand.
Do not hold the carriage or carriage arm while it is
moving.
Failure to do so may cause a damage to the carriage
mechanism.
