Why is the image through my Jedmed Ergo-Flex scope dim?

Ensure the fiberoptic cable is fully inserted into both the light source and the scope connection. If the issue persists, the fiberoptic cable may have broken fibers and need replacement.   If the image through your Jedmed Medical Equipment scope is blurry, the focus ring on the scope may not be adjusted properly. Set the focus ring to align with the dot for no optical correction. Then, rotate the focus ring to achieve the best focus, as it varies per user.

  If the tip of your Jedmed Medical Equipment scope is getting warm, it could be due to debris covering the light emitting window(s) on the scope tip. Clean the scope tip. It could also be due to an improper lamp in the light source, so install the proper lamp. Alternatively, there may be improper heat filtering of the fiberoptic light source; check for a broken or missing heat filter in the fiberoptic light source.
