Jointer Controls and Adjustments

Infeed Table Height Adjustment
Two lock knobs (F) and a height adjustment knob
(E) control the height adjustment of the infeed
table (D).
To adjust:
1. Loosen lock knobs (F).
2. Turn the height adjustment knob (E) clockwise
to raise the infeed table (D) or counter-
clockwise to lower the table.
The amount of table adjustment can be read
on the scale (C).
3. Tighten the lock knobs (F).
Note: A depth of cut of 1/16" or less is recom-
mended.
Cutterhead Guard
Properly positioned, the cutterhead guard (A)
should rest against the fence (B
1
).
Fence Bevel Adjustment
The fence (B
2
) can be tilted backward (G) up to
45° (that is, for a total included angle of 135° from
table surface) as follows:
1. Loosen lock handle (J).
2. Tilt the fence (B
2
) back to the desired angle up
to 135 degrees (G). Or you can place your
beveled reference piece on the table and
against the fence, adjusting the fence until the
angle of the fence matches the bevel of your
gauge piece.
3. Tighten the lock handle (J).
