Why is finished stock concave on the front end with my Jet JJ-6CSDX?

  If you are getting finished stock that is concave on the front end with your Jet Power Tool, it may be due to several reasons. You might be cutting against the grain, so try to cut with the grain whenever possible. Dull knives or knife inserts can also cause this, so sharpen or replace them. Feeding the workpiece too fast or cutting too deeply can also lead to this issue; try using a slower feed rate and making shallower cuts. Imperfections in the wood, such as knots, or high moisture content can also contribute, so inspect the wood closely and allow it to dry or use different stock.

How to fix concave back end on finished stock with Jet JJ-6CSDX?

  If the finished stock is concave on the back end when using your Jet Power Tool, it's likely due to an issue with the outfeed table alignment. The knife might be higher than the outfeed table, or the outfeed table might be higher than the knife. Adjust the outfeed table until it aligns with the tip of the knife.

  If your Jet Power Tool won't start or keeps tripping the circuit breaker, first, make sure it's properly connected to a power source and that both the on and stop buttons are correctly engaged. Check that the jointer is on a correctly sized circuit. A loose electrical lead might be the cause. Also, overheating may be the problem. Clean any dust or debris from the motor to improve air circulation and allow it to cool before trying to restart it. If these steps don't resolve the issue, the problem could stem from a switch or motor failure, or incorrect wiring.
