7.3 - Maintenance of the cutting system
The cutter bar is the heart of the JF 1300 S2 grass head. Keep the right quantity of
oil on it, as the instructions above.
Recommended oil:
Oil level:
Only use oil 150/CLP.
The capacity of oil is 2,0 liters. We recommend you to put 1,8 liter of oil and 0,2 liter of additive.
Oil exchange:
First exchange: 10 work hours.
Other exchanges: After one month or 50 work hours, what occurs first.
Exchange the oil after a job period because the dirty will flow under when the
machine is warm.
The machine must be turned off when exchanging the oil. Oil may be in high
temperature, so, be careful to don’t burn yourself. Always uses the IPE.
Check the amount of oil on the cutter bar regularly. During operation the
machine can be output thought the vent. The use of the platform without the
specified amount of oil can cause damage to the implement.
