5.5- Chopping size
According to the machine’s model, different sizes of
chopping can be obtained, according to the pair of gears
used and the number of knives in the chopping impeller
(see the table in the next page).
The front gear (1) of the shaft that has the safety pin is
the one that determines the size of the chopping.
How to vary the length of the chopping.
a) Turn the tractor PTO off and uncouple the tail shaft.
b) Upraise the shield (2) when equipped.
c) Release the bolts (5) using a wrench according to the
sub-item 12.1 table and remove the cover (6) of the
gears box.
d) Change the positions of the front (1) and the rear
gears (7) or make other gears match, according to the
table of chopping sizes in the next page.
e) Put the cover back (6).
f) According to the assembling configuration, reinstall
the cover (2) or close the plastic cover and operate
normally.
Note:
Never remove the covers 2, 4 and 6 with the
machine in operation.
