7.2- Transmission boxes lubrication
Note: For machines equipped with transmission box
1- Oil level
The level must reach the edge of the plug orifice (1).
2- Oil change
First oil change: after a week or 50 working hours -
whatever occurs first.
Other oil changes: every year or 500 working hours -
whatever occurs first.
Recommended oil = 150/CLP
Notes:
1- It is recommended to change the oil at the
end of the working day, because the waste
flows out easier with the box in operation
temperature.
2- To change the oil, the machine should be
turned off. The oil can be in extremely high
temperature. Therefore, use the indicated
Personal Safety Equipments (gloves,
goggles) to prevent burns.
Procedure:
a) On a flat and even place.
b) Remove the plugs (1, 2 and 3) using an Allen wrench
and allow the oil to be fully drained.
c) Reinstall the plugs (1 and 2).
Attention:
Never operate the harvester without
shields 4 and 5.
