Follow the instructions:
a) Uncouple the cardan (1).
b) Remove the tail shaft shield according to instructions
in the previous page.
c) Couple the machine to the tractor.

Note:
For the procedures below, the tractor should
be off and without the start key.
d) Disassemble the tail shaft, engage the tube (2) to the
tractor PTO and the bar (3) to the machine.
e) Join the parts of the cardan side by side (according to
side picture) and check whether there is a minimum
gap of 3 cm on each end.
If the play is smaller than the mentioned one or there is
no play at all, mark and cut the tube (2) and the bar (3) of
the tail shaft, as well as the protecting tube (4), all in the
same proportion (measurement).
f) With a file, remove the saw burrs resulting from the
cuts. Please, use gloves and goggles to protect your
hands and eyes.
g) Apply grease in the internal end of the tube and on
the tail shaft bar.
h) Assemble all the tail shaft components according to
the instructions in the previous page and couple it
again.
