Converting From 230 Volt/Single-Phase to 230
Volt/3-Phase DELTA
To convert from 230 Volt, 2 wire plus earth, 21 Amp, Single-
Phase to 230 Volt, 3 wire plus earth, 15 Amp, 3-Phase DELTA
connection. Refer to Figure 9 and Figure 13 :
1. Remove electrical access panel on rear of machine.
2. Remove plastic plug from hole in rear of machine.
3. Install strain relief, supplied with machine, in hole.
4. Put power cord through hole.

1. Install power cord through this hole after removing plastic
plug. Use strain relief supplied in accessories bag.

5. On terminal block quick-disconnect terminals, remove black/
white wire from L1 and attach to terminal L2.
6. Move black/red wire from L1 to L3.
7. Move white/black wire from neutral to L1.
8. Move white/red wire from neutral to L2.
9. Move white wire from neutral to L3.
10. Place one 506113 Sticker, supplied with washer, near each of
the two serial plates. Mark correct voltage on sticker.
11. Place 801292 Label, supplied with washer, underneath termi-
nal block. Refer to Figure 13 .
12. Attach power cord wires as shown in Figure 13 .
13. Reinstall access panel.
NOTE: 1.5 mm

wire required for 3 phase, 3 wire con-
nection.
