What to do if the drive motor is not functioning in my JLG 2032ES?

If the drive motor in your JLG Lifting Systems isn't working, you should first turn off the power and disconnect the main battery. Then, disconnect the drive motor connections from the Power Module. Verify field continuity between the blue and orange wires, and if possible, use a 4-wire ohmmeter to check the field resistance according to the motor's specifications. Also, check armature continuity between the red and black wires, using a 4-wire ohmmeter if available, to verify the armature resistance. Finally, use a dielectric tester to ensure there are no shorts between the field connector pins and the motor case.
