Entering/Exiting The Platform
DO NOT EXCEED MAXIMUM PLATFORM CAPACITY. MAXIMUM CAPACITY
INCLUDES PERSONNEL IN PLATFORM PLUS WEIGHT IN TOOL TRAY OR ANY
OTHER WEIGHT PLACED IN PLATFORM.
1. Always maintain “three point contact” with
the
machine
, using two hands and one foot or two fee
t
and
one hand at all times during entry and exit.
2. Attach your lanyard to the lanyard attachment point in
the lower right hand corner of the Mast.
3. Make sure entry gates are closed behind you.
4. Once in the platform and the entry gates have
fully
c
losed the platform is ready for the operation.
BEFORE OPERATING PLATFORM CHECK AROUND AND OVERHEAD FOR ANY
OBSTACLES OR PERSONNEL THAT MAY COME INTO CONTACT WITH MACHINE
WHILE ELEVATING OR LOWERING THE PLATFORM. IF NECESSARY, EXIT
MACHINE AND REPOSITION BEFORE PROCEEDING.
5. Before exiting the platform, be certain platform is fully
lowered.
