Go to Start>Settings>Control Panel, double-click Add/Remove
Programs, select P2000 and click Change/Remove.
When the Wizard starts, click Ye s to proceed with un-installing.
When asked if you want to un-install the P2000 database, select No. To
uninstall the P2000 database P2000 services will have to be stopped.
When asked if you want to un-install the badge layout files, select No.
When asked if you want to un-install the user groups, select No.
If asked about deleting *.dll file, select the Don't display this message
again check box and click Yes .
Verify that the Yes, I want to restart my computer now radio button is
selected and click Finish.
5. Manually remove the Pegasys and BadgeImages
databases. Do not remove
the archive.
From the Windows desktop, select Start>Programs>Microsoft SQL
Server 2005>SQL Server Management Studio.
Under the icon for the regional (local) server highlight the Databases
folder. A list of available databases will be displayed.
In the right window pane, right-click on the Pegasys database icon and
select Delete.
In the Delete Object window click OK.
In the Microsoft SQL Server Management Studio right-click on the
BadgeImages database icon and select Delete.
In the Delete Object window click OK.
Close the Microsoft SQL Server Management Studio window.
6. Perform a clean install of P2000 version 3.1
0 software. See the P2000
Server/Workstation software Installation Manual for details.
Register the P2000 version 3.10 server with the Enterprise Configuration
option.
7. After the reboot stop P2000 services and verify that the SQL Serv
er and SQL
Server Agent services are running.
