Jacking the machine
When jacking up the machine, fit a jack in each of the jack-up supports, as shown in Figure 8.

Operate the front and rear jacks alternately.
Do not jack up the machine more than 0.78 in. at a time. Each time the machine is jacked up, adhere
it with a suitable crosstie.
