Safety During Use
a) Preparation
Check that the voltage of the vehicle battery matches that of
the Jumpstarter.
Clean the battery terminals before connecting them to the
Jumpstarter. Do not allow corrosion to come into contact with
the eyes.
Do not place the Jumpstarter in the engine compartment or
near the battery. Place the device as far away as the Jumper
cables allow.
b) Protect yourself
Consider having someone close enough or within range of your
voice to assist you when working near a vehicle battery.
Under extreme conditions, battery leakage of the vehicle may
occur. Carefully wipe the liquid off using a cloth & avoid skin
contact.
Always have protective eyewear when using this product:
contact with battery acid may cause blindness and/or severe
burns. Be aware of first aid procedures in case of accidental
contact with battery acid.
Have plenty of fresh water and soap nearby in case battery
acid contacts the skin. If battery acid comes in contact with the
skin, rinse immediately with water, and then wash thoroughly
with soap and water. If redness, pain, or irritation occurs, seek
immediate medical attention.
Remove personal metal items such as rings, bracelets,
necklaces, and watches when working with a vehicle battery. A
vehicle battery can produce a short circuit current high enough
to weld a ring, or the like of a metal, causing a severe burn.
Never allow battery acid to come in contact with the
Jumpstarter.
c) Supported battery types
With the Jumpstarter, you can jump-start all 12-volt AGM (with
electrolyte absorbent glass mat), GEL (with gelifi electrolyte),
and lead-acid batteries.
The Jumpstarter is not suitable for use with electric vehicles with
a built-in rechargeable battery.
Do not use the Jumpstarter on a damaged or frozen battery!
