1) Whenever trouble occurs, do the following first.
(1) Pullthe plugout of the control unit connector,then plugit lock in securely.
(2) Checkthe line voltage. Confirmthat it matchesthe valueon the name plate.
(3) Checkthe control unit fuse. If it isnecessary to replaceAe fuse, replaceit with the new fuse provided
for this unit, after you have confirmed the capacity of the fuse.

Whentrouble occurs,check the stageto whichoperation wasnormal;if it isknown at what stagethe
troubleoccured,the possible troublespotsarenarrowed down, making troubleshooting easier.

0 Pedal depression 2-1) Sewing machine operates (low speed -»• high speed)
@ Pedal neutral 3-1) The needle barstopsinits lowest position.

5—1) Automatic reverse feed stitching.
5—2) One-touch type reverse feed stitching.
(5) If trouble occurs, firSt fmd out whether the trouble isonthe PSC box side oronthe control box side.
If the trouble ison the control box side,allthat happensisthat the control of numberof stitches,suchas
in automatic reverse feed stitching, does not work, so it is possible to disconnect connector J60 (SC-120,
SC-220) orJ61 (SC-320) from the main circuit board and use the machine asa sewing machine with
automatic thread trimmer.
