Storing your power assisted bike
Battery care:
Before storing your bike for the off
season, run the battery capacity down to
zero, let it cool down, then put it to a
complete charge cycle.
When not used for a long period, a battery
will lose some of its capacity.
The battery must be maintained above
70% of its capacity during the storing
period. It is recommended to charge to
full every 3 months.
Storage environment:
Store the battery in a dry, tempered room
away from humidity at room temperature
(around 20°C).
Do not store the battery in a cold
environment such as a garage or shed
in the winter, even for a short period.
Cold temperature can damage the
battery.
Store the battery away from high heat
sources such as direct sunlight or
inside a vehicle during summer.
