Setting
the
Recording
Timer
With
the
recording
timer
you
can
make
a
tape
of
a
radio
broadcast
automatically
whether
or
not
you
are
there
to
start
the
CA-MXG9BK.
For
the
timer
to
work
correctly,
you
need
to
make
sure
of
two
things
in
addition
to
setting
the
time
for
the
radio
and
tape
deck
to
come
on:
«
A
long
enough
tape
must
be
in
deck
B.
*
The
clock
must
be
set
to
the
correct
time.
1.
Press
the
REC
button.
*
Aslong
as
the
indicator
is
flashing,
you
can
continue
with
the
setting
process.
If
you
wait
too
long,
and
it
stops
before
you
are
done,
just
press
the
REC
button
twice
and
start
over.
2.
Set
the
time
you
want
the
radio
to
come
on
and
the
tape
in
deck
B
to
start
recording.

select

preset

display
whenever

Recording
Timer
is
set.
If
you
do
not
want
the
timer
to
operate
but
want
to
keep
the
setting
Press
the
REC
button
so
that
the
REC
indicator
on
the
display
goes
off.
TUNING/TIMEF/OIMMER:
PRESET
To
reactivate
the
timer
Press
the
REC
button
again.
It
is
very
easy,
and
can
be
very
disappointing,
to
forget
to
put
in
a
tape,
or
to
accidentally
leave
a
tape
in
deck
B
you
don’t
want
recorded
over.
Although
this
happens
to
almost
every-
one
sometimes,
we
hope
it
won’t
happen
to
you!
