Cleaning the monitor
How to care for the cabinet and screen
● When cleaning the monitor, remove the Power cord from the monitor and the wall
outlet for your safety.
● Wipe o dust on the cabinet with a soft cloth, and use a cloth lightly moistened with
a mild detergent, ethanol or isopropyl alcohol to remove grease. When using a
disposable cloth, follow the instructions.
● The cabinet is made of plastic. Do not apply thinner or benzene. It could damage the
plastic and/or the coating could come o.
● Do not spray insecticides and other volatile solutions on the cabinet. Do not keep
rubber or vinyl in contact with the cabinet for a long time. It could damage the
cabinet and/or the coating could come o.
● Wipe the panel surface with a soft dry cloth lightly moistened with water or diluted
neutral detergent. Finish up by wiping with a dry soft cloth.
*: Commercially available cleaners or mildly alkaline detergents could damage the
panel surface.
● Be careful when handling the panel surface.
Do not rub or hit with sharp or hard objects. Do not press on the panel. It could cause
unevenness in luminance or damage the panel.
