Another VCR/PC
You can use your VCR as the source player or as the
recording deck.
A
Make connections.
Connect an audio/video cable between the player’s
VIDEO OUT and AUDIO OUT connectors and the
recorder’s VIDEO IN and AUDIO IN connectors.
● If connecting a VCR with an S-VIDEO input/output connector,
it is recommended to use the S-VIDEO connection to
minimize picture degradation while editing.

Set the input mode of recording deck.
If using your VCR as a recording deck, press AUX
(number key “0”) and/or CH +/– to select “L-1”.
L-1: when connecting the VCR to the audio/video input
connectors on the rear panel.
● When using S VIDEO connector, set “REAR AUX INPUT” to
“S-VIDEO”. (

Select the recording deck.
Press S-VHS or DV.

Set the edit mode. (VHS deck only)

Start the source player.
Engage the Play mode of the source player.

Start the recording deck.
Engage the Record mode of the recording deck.
