Connect it correctly.

Attach the microphone to the
place indicated in the
Installation/Connection manual
(separate volume).
Register your own voices for all
Operation Commands.
Select “DEMO OFF” for “VOICE
DEMO.” (See page 47)
Change the microphone position
or take any other methods to
eliminate the noises.

Press the reset button on the

Symptoms
• Your voice commands (either
Operation or Access
commands) do not operate
the receiver.
• You cannot use all Operation
Commands.
• You cannot register your own
commands.
•“ ” appears on the
display.
• This unit does not work at all.
• The CD changer does not
work at all.
Causes
Microphone is not connected.
Voice control unit is not
connected.
Your voice does not reach the
microphone.
“DEMO OFF” is selected for
“VOICE DEMO.” In this case,
you can use only the Operation
Commands for which you have
registered your own voices.
“DEMO ON” is selected for
“VOICE DEMO.”
Noises inside or outside the car
will interfere.
Security lock is in use.
The built-in microcomputer may
function incorrectly due to noise,
etc.
