Tapes with their names in bold characters are
recommended in order to achieve the full per-
formance of the KD-V6.
Be sure to use the recommended tapes when re-
cording/playing back using the noise reduction
systems (such as Dolby C NR) to get optimum
performance.
. The use of ferri-chrome tape for recording with
the KD-V6 is not recommended because record-
ing leve]s are slightly different from other tape
characteristics.
. Most metal tapes available on the market are
provided with metal tape identification holes.
However, other than those specified in the table,
some metal tapes without identification holes
cannot be used.
. Among your own metal tapes, those which have
chrome tape identification holes (PB EQ, 70 us),
instead of metal tape identification holes, can
be played back as they are. (Refer to ‘Auto
Tape Select mechanism” on page 5.)

Hinweise:
1. Die in der Liste fett gedruckten Bander werden emp-
fohlen, um mit dem KD-V6 die besten Ergebnisse zu
erzielen.
Bei Aufnahmen und Wiedergaben unter Verwendung des
Rauschunterdriickungssystems (wie Dolby C NR} sollten
die empfohlenen Bander benutzt werden, um die opti-
male Leistung zu erhalten.
2. Der Gebrauch von Eisenchrombandern fiir Aufnahmen
mit dem KD-V6 empfiehlt sich nicht, da die Aufnahme-
pege! ein wenig von anderen Bandern differieren.
3. Die meisten auf dem Markt erhaltlichen Metallbander
sind mit Bandart-Abtastlécher versehen. Jedoch kénnen
Metallbander ohne Bandart-Abtastlécher nicht benutzt
werden.
4. Die Metallbander, die anstelle von Metallband-Abtast-
léchern Chromband-Abtastlécher (PB EQ 70 us) auf-
weisen, kénnen wiedergegeben werden, wie sie sind.

Pour obtenir les meilleurs résultats, i! est recommandé
d’employer les bandes dont le nom apparait en carac-
téres gras.
S‘assurer d‘utiliser les bandes recommandées lors d’un
enregistrement ou d‘une lecture utilisant les systémes de
réduction du bruit (tels que Dolby C NR) afin d’obtenir
une performance optimale.
. L’utilisation de bande ferrichrome pour I’enregistrement
avec le KD-V6 nest pas recommandée du fait que les
niveaux d’enregistrement sont légérement différents des
caractéristiques d'autres bandes.
. La plupart des bandes métal disponibles dans le com-
merce sont munies de trous d‘identification pour bande
métal. Cependant, certaines bandes métal ne possédant
pas ces trous et non spécifiées dans le tableau ne sont pas
utilisables.

tion pour bande chrome au lieu de bande métal peuvent
