Basic Operating
Switching ON / OFF
When you rst connect the unit to the AC power, the unit will be in Standby mode. The
STANDBY indicator will light up red.
• Press on the unit or remote control to switch the unit on. The display will show
“HELLO” and the STANDBY indicator will switch o. Then, the system will switch to the
last selected source.
• Press on the unit or remote control to switch the unit back to standby mode. The
display will show “GOODBYE” and the standby indicator will light up red. The clock
will be displayed for a few minutes then the clock will switch o. The unit will switch to
ECO-Power mode.
• To switch the unit o completely, remove the mains plug from the mains socket.
• Please turn the unit o completely to save energy when not in use.
ECO-Power Mode
The unit features an ECO-Power / Standby mode. It automatically turns to Standby mode
after 15 minutes if the unit is idle in BT, LINE IN, AUDIO, CD or USB mode or the external
unit is disconnected, switched o or the volume is too close to mute.
Selecting Modes
Turn the SOURCE button on the unit to switch between LINE IN, TUNER, DISC, USB and BT
(Bluetooth®) modes. The selected mode will show on the display.
Alternatively, you can directly press the followings buttons on the remote control to switch to your
desired mode:
• BT to switch to Bluetooth® mode.
• CD to switch to DISC mode.
• USB to switch to USB mode.
• LINE to switch to LINE IN mode.
• FM repeatedly to switch between FM radio.
This instruction manual explains the basic instructions for operating this unit. Unless otherwise stated, all
operations described are based on remote control use.
