System Settings
Setting a Sleep Timer
You can set a sleep timer so if you are listening to your radio and fall asleep, it will
automatically switch o at the preset time. The sleep timer can be activated for up to a
maximum of 90 minutes.
1. Press MENU button, and then turn the VOLUME/SELECT dial or press button to
select System settings. Press the VOLUME/SELECT dial to conrm.
2. Turn the VOLUME/SELECT dial or press button to select Sleep. Press the
VOLUME/SELECT dial to conrm.
3. Turn the VOLUME/SELECT dial or press button to select between Sleep Timer
O, 15 minutes, 30 minutes, 45 minutes, 60 minutes or 90 minutes, and then press
VOLUME/SELECT dial to conrm.
4. When a sleep timer has been set the symbol and the remaining sleep time will be
displayed.
Alarm
Ensure the time and date is set before you can activate the alarm function.
Setting the Alarm
Your radio has two alarms (Alarm 1 and Alarm 2). This is handy so you can set one alarm for
workdays and one for weekends. You set both alarms in the same way.
1. Press MENU button, and then turn the VOLUME/SELECT dial or press button to
select System settings. Press the VOLUME/SELECT dial to conrm.
2. Turn the VOLUME/SELECT dial or press button to select Alarm. Press the
VOLUME/SELECT dial to conrm.
3. Turn VOLUME/SELECT dial or press button to select Alarm 1 or Alarm 2, and
then press VOLUME/SELECT dial to conrm.
4. Turn VOLUME/SELECT dial or press button to select options, and then press
VOLUME/SELECT dial to conrm the setting.
Alarm: Press VOLUME/SELECT dial to set alarm On or O
Frequency: Daily, Once, Weekends or Weekdays
Wake Up time: 00:00 (manually set up the time)
Source: Buzz or Digital Radio, FM
(If the wake-up source is Digital Radio and the DAB signal
strength is low, the buzz alarm will be triggered.)
Preset: Last listened or saved preset station (not available for Buzz
mode)
Duration: 15/30/45/60/90/120 minutes
Alarm volume: Turn VOLUME/SELECT dial to adjust the alarm volume
