When listening to a broadcast, if you want to
listen to the other frequency set by the same
channel button, press the PRESET SELECT
button and the same broadcast will still be
received,
Now press the station select button. (Only
for Continental Europe, U.K. and Australia.)
For example; if you want to listen to channel
9 when listening to channel 1, first press the
PRESET SELECT button; channel 1 will still
be heard. Then press the station select button
so that the channel 9 can be received.
8 FM and 8 AM (MW/LW) stations can be
preset in memory. (U.S.A., Canada and other
countries.)

Connect a turntable to the PHONO terminals
on the rear panel.
Press the POWER button to ON (=).
Select the speaker system with the SPEA-
KERS buttons.
Press the PHONO button.
Operate the turntable as described in its
operation manual.
Notes:
Use a turntable with an MM (moving magnet)
cartridge.
elf your turntable has a separate ground lead,
connect it to the GND terminal which is also
used for the connection of the AM loop
antenna terminal.

terminals.
Press the POWER button to ON ( -—).
Select the speaker system with the SPEAK-
ERS buttons.
Press the TAPE MONITOR button.
Operate the tape deck for playback as

Notes:
You can monitor the sound being recorded
with headphones.
The sound you hear from the speakers or
headphones is the source sound.
lf you have a three-head tape deck, you can
monitor the sound immediately after it has
been recorded by pressing the TAPE MONI-
TOR button.

Rundfunk-Wiedergabe auf eine
andere Frequenz umgeschaltet werden soil,
die in derselben Kanal-Taste gespeichert ist,
wird nach Betatigen der PRESET SELECT-
Taste derselbe Sender empfangen.
Nun die Sender-Abruftaste betatigen (nur
Europa und Australien).
Ist z.B. Kanal 1 eingestellt, kann auf Kanal 9
umgeschaltet werden, indem zuniachst die
PRESET SELECT-Taste betatigt wird (Kanal 1
bleibt eingeschaltet). Dann die Sender-Ab-
ruftaste betatigen, so da& Kanal 9 emp-
fangen wird.
8 UKW und 8 AM (MW/LW-Sender kénnen
gespeichert werden (nur USA, Kanada und
andere Lander).

Verfiigt der Plattenspieler iber ein Erdungs-
kabel, dieses an die GND-Buchse anschlieRen,
die auch fiir den Anschlu& der AM-Rah-
menantenne benutzt wird.

Die Aufnahmeiiberwachung kann auch iiber
KopfhGrer erfolgen.
Der iiber Lautsprecher bzw. Kopfhorer
wiedergegebene Ton ist der Ton der Signal-
quelle.
Verfiigt das Bandgerat iiber drei Tonképfe
ist Hinterbandkontrolie médglich, wenn die
TAPE MONITOR-Taste gedriickt wird.
