OPERATION
Before use :
Connect each component correctly, and then
plug the power cord to an AC wall outlet.
Basic operation
1, Press the POWER button to on.
2. Select.the speaker-system with the SPEAK-
ERS buttons.
3. Proceed through the steps described below
according to your purpose.
4, Adjust the volume and balance to your re-
quirement.
5. Use the SEA buttons to obtain the tone
you want to hear.
Presetting to selected stations (FM or AM)
There are two ways to preset stations using the
TUNING buttons . . . 1. Auto tuning/manual
tuning, 2. Auto memory function.
1. Auto tuning/manual tuning
(Refer to @) TUNING UP/DOWN buttons.)
1. Press the FM or AM button.
2. Tune to a desired station by pressing the
TUNING button for auto tuning or tapping
it for manual tuning.
3. Press the PRESET SELECT button as re-
quired, so that the PRESET SELECT. indi-
cator shows “1 — 8”’ or "9 — 16”,
4. Press the MEMORY button so. that the
MEMORY indicator tights.
5. Press one of the TUNER PRESET STA-
TIONS buttons.
6. Perform the same pre-tuning procedure
(steps 2, 3, 4) for the remaining: channels.
Pre-tuning is possible for up to 32 stations
(16 FM and 16 AM stations).
2 How to operate the auto memory function
(Refer to @ AUTO MEMORY button.)
1, Press the FM or AM button.
2, Tune to the frequency from which you wish
the AUTO MEMORY function to begin its
scanning.
3. Press the PRESET SELECT button as re-
quired,
4, Press a TUNER PRESET STATIONS but-
ton and the AUTO MEMORY button. The
AUTO MEMORY indicator lights and auto
scanning starts from the displayed frequency
upward,
When a broadcast is tuned in, the TUNED
indicator lights and your selected station
number flashes. !f you do not press the
AUTO MEMORY button, the MEMORY
indicator. and that channel number light
together and the frequency is stored in
memory. This continues until: the. highest
numbered: channel preset station has a fre-
quency in its memory oF .auto scanning
reaches the highest frequency.

Grundsatzliche Bedienung
1. Die POWER-Taste driicken.
_2. -Das «-Lautsprechersystem.-:mit ..den*:SPEA-. -
~ KERS-Tasten wahlen.
3. Die unten beschriebenen Schritte je nach
vorgesehener Verwendung durchfiihren.
4. Lautstarke und Baijance nach Wunsch
einstetlen.
5. Den Klang mit den SEA-Tasten nach
‘Wunsch einstellen.
Senderspeicherung (UKW oder MW)
Es gibt zwei Méglichkeiten, Sender mit den
TUNING-Tasten zu speichern . . . 1. Auto-
matische Abstimmung/manuelle Abstimmung,
2. Auto-Speicherfunktion.
1 Automatische Abstimung/manuelle
Abstimmung
(Siehe @ TUNING UP/DOWN-Tasten.)
. Die FM- oder AM-Taste driicken.
2. Die TUNING-Taste fir autamatische Ab-
stimmung driicken oder fiir manuelle Ab-
stimmung antippen, um .den gewiinschten
Sender einzustellen.
3.. Die PRESET .SELECT-Taste nach Bedarf
driicken,.so da&.auf.der PRESET SELECT-
Anzeige’ ‘1 — 8" oder “9 — 16" angezeigt
wird.
4. Die MEMORY-Taste driicken, ‘so..daQ die
MEMORY -Anzeige.Jeuchtet.
5. Eine der TUNER .PRESET STATIONS-
Tasten.driicken.
6. Die gleiche Bedienung (Schritte. 2, 3,. 4)
fiir die verbleibenden.: Kanale .durchfiihren.
Bis-zu' 32 Sender (16 UKW- und 16 MW-
. Sender) kdnnen gespeichert werden.
2 Bedienung-der-Auto-Speicherfunktion

‘automatische-Absuchen in Aufwartsrichtung
beginnt. bei der. .angezeigten Frequenz.
Wenn ein .Radiosender .eingestellt. ist,
leuchtet die TUNED-Anzeige, ‘und: -die
gewahite Sendernummer blinkt. ‘Wird:-die
AUTO
..MEMORY-Taste.
