in advance of this adjustment.
1. Input the mono-scope pattern signal.
2. Se le ct t he WHITE B ALA NCE BLO CK m ode from
<BLOCK SE LECT> screen .
3. Confirm the initial setting value of W01, W02,
W03 in th e S ERVICE MENU are 5 0.
4. Se le ct t he CUTOFF a djust me nt mo de.
5. Press “SERV” switch to display the single
horizontal line. Carefully adjust the SCREEN VR
to horizontal line app ears faintly, not to shin e
much.
6. Grad ua lly turn the SCREEN V R f rom t he left t o
th e rig ht d irect ion to br ing o ne of th e red, green
an d blue colours fa intly visible.
7. Then select the CUTOFF switch (R, G or B) that
colour exce pt for appea rs first , and a djust in g 2
colours CUTOFF valu es by pr ess in g the +ke y,
an d ma ke h orizont al line vis ible whit e.
8. Rea djust t he SCRE EN VR t o ap pear th e
h orizo nt al line f aint ly, an d c anc el th e h orizon tal
line to press the “SERV” switch.

Finish the adjustment of low light completely first in
ad vanc e of th is ad ju stmen t.
1. Inp ut t he m ono-sc op e p atte rn sign al.
2. Se lect the WHI TE BALA NCE B LO CK mode from
<BLOCK SE LECT> screen .
3. Select th e 6 500 DRIV E adju stm en t mod e (High
lig ht 6500 mod e).
4. Ap ply th e se nsor of th e colou r t empe rature met er
to t he CRT surfac e, p ort ion of th e 10 0% whit e,
adjust the W04 (R DRIVE) or W05 (B DRIVE) to
setting 6500K (x=0.313, y=0.329).
5. Exit the SE RVICE MENU by pr essin g t he “EX IT”
key.
6. Check th e whit e b alan ce tracking is fin est wh en
CONTRAST a nd BRIGHT are up an d down .
