What to do if my K2 Pumps Water Pump is not pumping water?
- KKaren CastilloJul 28, 2025
If your K2 Pumps Water Pump isn't pumping water, several issues could be the cause. First, ensure the supply valve is open. Check if the automatic valve is functioning correctly and replace it if necessary. Inspect the float for any obstructions and ensure it moves freely. Also, check for a plugged ejector or inlet screen, and clean them if needed. If the water level is below the inlet screen, adjust the float rod stops. Inspect the primary sump pump check valve, cleaning or installing one if necessary. Examine the discharge line for blockages. Avoid exceeding the rated lift, and ensure the water supply is above 40 PSI, possibly installing a larger pipe. Note that the pump won't function with a well pump supply, as it requires continuous pressure.
