Pedestal Sump Pump
3. Ensure Pit/Basin is clear of all debris. Lower the pump into
the center of the sump pit or sump basin. Pit/Basin should
be at least 12” diameter and 18” deep.
4. Plug into a GFCI protected outlet.
5. Check the pump’s operation by lling the sump pit or
basin with water.
NOTE: The Float Switch comes pre-assembled. Refer to your owner’s manual if you need to adjust the ON and OFF position of the oat switch.
1. Attach discharge pipe to the pump discharge. Drill a
1/8” anti-airlock hole as shown.
2. Connect a check valve to the discharge pipe.
Be sure the ow is away from the pump.

Attach Discharge Pipe and Drill Anti-Airlock Hole

Connect discharge pipe and drill a 1/8" anti-airlock hole as shown.

Connect Check Valve

Connect a check valve to the discharge pipe ensuring the flow is away from the pump.

Position Pump in Pit and Verify Pit Requirements

Lower pump into pit center; pit must be at least 12" diameter and 18" deep.

Connect to GFCI Outlet

Plug the pump into a GFCI protected outlet for safe operation.

Test Pump Operation

Verify the pump functions correctly by filling the sump pit or basin with water.

Float Switch Pre-Assembly Note

Float switch comes pre-assembled; consult manual for adjustment.
