Maintenance Battery-Powered
Devices
- Switch o the device before cleaning
or maintenance work and before part
replacement. In case of devices connected
to the mains, remove the plug from
the socket; in case of battery-powered
devices, remove the battery socket or
disconnect the battery. The device must be
switched o whenever you want to switch
to another function.
- Repairs can only be performed by
authorized technical assistance workshops
or by technicians specialized in this area,
who are familiar with the main safety
regulations.
- Pay attention to the safety control
in accordance with the local
regulations in force regarding mobile
professional equipment.
- Only accessories and spare parts
authorized by the device manufacturer
must be used. Original Accessories and
Spare Parts provide the guarantee that the
device can be operated safely and without
faults.
- Use only brushes/discs with which
the device is equipped or that are
specied in the instruction manual.
Using other brushes/discs may limit the
safety parameters.
- Pay attention if the power and extension
cords are not damaged by the cleaning
head, i.e., by its rotating brushes/discs.
- Devices with a seat are not approved
for circulation on public roads. Consult
your supplier to nd out about equipment
authorized for circulation on public roads.
- It is not allowed to transport another
person in the device.
- Devices with a seat can only be operated
from the seat.
- Please pay special attention to the safety
warnings in the instruction manual for
devices with a gasoline engine.
- Do not use the device without the
protection structure (against falling
objects - FOPS) in places where there is
a possibility of the machine operator being
hit by falling objects.

It is absolutely essential to comply with
the battery and charger manufacturer’s
instructions. When handling batteries, follow
the legal recommendations.
- Never leave batteries discharged for a long
time; recharge them as soon as possible.
- Always keep the batteries clean and dry
to avoid leakage currents. Protect against
impurities such as metal dust.
- Do not place tools or the like on the battery.
Short circuit and explosion risk.
- Never work with open ames or sparks
and never smoke near batteries or the room
where they will be charged. Explosion risk.
- Take the utmost care when handling
battery acid. Observe the corresponding
safety instructions!
- Used batteries must be disposed of without
harming the environment and in accordance
with the CE directive 91/ 157 CEE or the
current national legislation.
- To prevent risks, repairs and
the tting of spare parts may only
be performed by the authorized
customer service.
- For devices with bolt-on wheels: Before
calibrating tire air pressure, check if the
wheel bolts are correctly tightened.
- Before calibrating tire air pressure,
check the correct reducer setting in the
compressor.
- Do not exceed the maximum tire
pressure. The maximum allowable tire
pressure can be found in the tires or
wheels. If dierent values are indicated,
the lowest value must be observed.
