Why is my Kemppi MinarcTig 180 Welding System producing poor welding results?
Several factors can impact welding quality. Ensure the earthing clamp is properly attached to a clean point, and that the cable and its connectors are in good condition. Also, verify that the shielding gas flows correctly from the torch tip. Note that irregular, low, or high electric network voltage can also affect welding results.
What to do if the overheating indicator is lit on my Kemppi MinarcTig 180 Welding System?
If the overheating indicator is on, the device has likely overheated. Make sure that cooling air can flow without any restrictions. It's also possible that you've exceeded the machine’s duty cycle, in which case you should wait for the indicator to turn off. Too low or high supply voltage can also cause overheating.
