Why do the top and sides of my Kenwood BM230 Bread Maker bread cave in?

If the top and sides cave in, it may be due to too much liquid; reduce it by 15ml/3tsp or add extra flour next time. Too much yeast can also cause this, so use the amount recommended in the recipe or try a quicker cycle. High humidity and warm weather can cause the dough to rise too fast; chill the water or add milk straight from the fridge.
