CIRCUIT DESCRIPTION
Outline
This device is a dual-band 144/430MHz FM car trans-
ceiver planned and designed for amateur radio communica-
tions and has the following features.
1.
The use of a full dot matrix green LCD display and LED
light sources (green LEDs + color conversion filters) has
improved the visual verification, operability, and func-
tionability. This also improves the lifespan compared to
illumination with conventional light bulbs. Display can
be switched between negative and positive.
The main unit is 40x140 mm. The detachabie operation
panei is 51.5x105 mm.
Maximum 280 channel memory (180 channels in mem-
ory name registration mode)
Top surface and front surface heat dispersion structure
Built-in CTCSS functions with 38 different selectable
tones
New personal computer interface function added to
9600-bps data terminal
Functions can be controlled with received DTMF signals.
Visual scan functions/independently operable 4-channel
PM function/key name switch function
