REAR WINDOW
DEFROSTER
The defroster heats the window to
remove frost, fog and thin ice from the
interior and exterior of the rear window.
The ignition switch must be ON for the
defroster to operate.
To activate the rear window defroster,
press the rear window defroster button
located in the air conditioning panel. The
instrument panel rear window defroster
indicator illuminates when the defroster
is ON.
The rear window defroster automatically
turns OFF after 20 minutes or when the
ignition switch is turned OFF. To turn
off the defroster, press the rear window
defroster button again. If there is heavy
accumulation of snow on the rear
window, brush it off before operating the
rear defroster.
NOTICE :
To prevent damage to the conductors
bonded to the inside surface of the
rear window, never use sharp instru-
ments or window cleaners containing
abrasives to clean the window.
NOTICE :
To prevent the battery from being dis-
charged, operate the defroster only
while the engine is running.
INTERIOR FEATURES
DIGITAL CLOCK
When the ignition switch is in the ON
position, the clock buttons operate as
follows:
RESET:
To clear away minutes, press the “R”
button with your finger, a pencil or
similar object. When you release the
button, the clock will be set precisely on
the hour.
