When jump starting the engine, ob-
serve the following instructions to
ensure safety.
1. Use a battery of the same voltage
as the disabled tractor to jump start.
Allow as much distance as possible
the distance between the batteries
within the range the jumper cables
will reach to ensure safety
2. Engage the parking brake of the
tractor and turn off the key switch.
3. Wear safety goggles and rubber
globes.
4. Connect the red cable to the positive
(+) terminal of the dead battery and
connect the other end to the positive
(+) terminal of the helper battery.
5. Connect the black cable to the nega-
tive (-) terminal of the helper battery
and connect the other end to the
engine lifting hook.
6. If the helper battery is in another
vehicle, start the vehicle’s engine
after connecting the cables and let
it run for a few moments. Then, start
the engine of the disabled tractor.
7. Disconnect the battery cables in the
exact reverse order as they were
connected.

Stop the engine, remove the
key, and apply the parking brake
before you folding or unfolding
the ROPS.
This must be performed at the
safe and proper position from
the rear side of the tractor.

cept only when it is inevitable,
and it must be returned to its
original straight position as
soon as possible.
