General technical description of the refrigerator:
The refrigerator is equipped with an electronic control unit and an electronic monitoring unit. Both are on the same PCB and work inde-
pendently from one another.
The refrigerator has recirculated air cooling, independent defrosting, condensation evaporation, delayed interior temperature display,
optical and acoustic warning system and power failure alarm.
The recirculated air in the cold store is produced by a cross-flow fan. The selection of air humidity influences the function of the cross-
flow fan. The air humidity is set using button 2. When the setting "high air humidity" is chosen, the green diode 10 lights up and the
recirculated air fan is switched to permanent operation. NOTE: When the setting "low air humidity" is chosen, the fan stops for 5 min-
utes depending on compressor standstill (dripping time). The fan runs during the defrosting phase no matter what the air humidity set-
ting. It always switches off when the door is opened.
Defrosting is initiated every 12 hours by the electronic temperature/defrosting regulator. The cooler is switched off, the fan runs inside
the appliance. Defrosting is stopped when the temperature sensor on the condenser has reached the limiting temperature of +5°C or
after a safety period of 90 minutes. Additional defrosting can be initiated by pressing button 7 (for approx. 4 seconds). The condensa-
tion drips into the condensation dish on the interior first and then drains from there through a tube into the evaporation dish in the ma-
chine room.
Key switch 1
When the key switch is in position 0 the buttons have no function. As long as the appliance remains connected to the
mains supply, the word OFF will appear in the display.
When the key switch is in position 1 all the buttons are active. Reference value and warning thresholds can be dis-
played but not changed. The MIN and MAX values can be displayed and reset.
With the key switch in position P, reference value and warning thresholds can be displayed and changed using buttons
3 and/or 8. The air humidity can be set. In addition, the parameter lists can be requested by pressing the buttons 3 and
8 at the same time (for at least 4 seconds).
NOTE: The appliance must be operated in position 1. We recommend removing the key to prevent the appliance being switched off by
mistake.
