A1 Replacing the display or the control and monitoring unit A2
Both parts are placed below the top plate. Remove the cover plate at the rear side of pull out the work surface. The parts then become
visible.
Replacing the cross-flow fan: Screw the upper angled part of the air baffle off and the attachment plate with the cross-flow fan off the
rear of the interior space and take it out. The cross-flow fan can be screwed off the attachment plate and replaced.
Replacing the door handle:
From the inside of the door, remove the two stoppers and insulating material. Unscrew the two screws behind these.
Replacing the cylinder lock:
From the inside of the door, unscrew the countersunk screw in the bolt. Pull out the bolt, round cover and insulating tube. Loosen the
fastening nut (22 mm socket wrench) and pull the lock out towards the front. Install replacement lock in reverse order.
Replacing the door seal:
The door does not have to be screwed off for the seal to be replaced. Pull the door seal out of the all-round groove. Force the replace-
ment seal into the grove by hitting it gently with the ball of your thumb or a wooden hammer. Make sure the seal is inserted into the
groove flush to the cover lip.
Cooler:
Together with the evaporator this forms a ready-to-insert unit which can be replaced without having to interrupt the refrigerant circuit.
The evaporator is pushed through a slot in the rear wall. If the refrigerant circuit is interrupted by non-authorised customer services
points, this renders any warranty claims invalid.
Replacing the battery:
The battery pack is monitored by the electronics and ACC appears in the display if this is faulty or not providing enough power.
The battery pack is in the machine room at the rear. It is fastened to the terminal board by the battery bracket. To change the battery
pack, remove the hoop from the battery bracket and pull the red and blue cables off. Install the replacement battery in reverse order.
