Electrical Shock Hazard
Disconnect power before servicing.
Replace all parts and panels before operating.
Failure to do so can result in death or electrical shock.
WARNING
GRILL ELEMENT
Refer to page 4-16 for the procedure for ac-
cessing the grill element.
1. Unplug oven or disconnect power.
2. Disconnect one of the wires from the grill
element terminals.
3.
Set the ohmmeter to the R x 1 scale.
4. Touch the ohmmeter test leads to the grill
element terminals. The meter should indi-
c
ate approximately 9 Ω.
LOWER OVEN LIGHT
TRANSFORMER
Refer to page 4-20 for the procedure for ac-
cessing the lower oven light transformer.
1. Unplug oven or disconnect power.
2. Disconnect one of the wires from the LINE
(primary) and one from the LOAD (second-
ary) terminals.
3.
Set the ohmmeter to the R x 1 scale.
4. Touch the ohmmeter test leads to the LINE
terminals. The meter should indicate ap-
p
roximately 40 to 45 Ω.
5. Touch the ohmmeter test leads to the LOAD
terminals. The meter should indicate less
than 1 Ω.
