PREPARATION
Kobalt 24V Max Battery Pack Use
1a. To Attach Battery Pack
a. Make sure that battery and inator
are clean and free of debris. Point the
Ination Port (C) away from yourself
and others (see WARNING on page 6).
b. Align the raised portion on the battery
pack with the grooves on the bottom of
the inator, then slide the battery pack
into the Inator’s Battery Adaptor (A) as
shown (See 1a).
c. Make sure that the latch on the battery
pack snaps into place and the battery
pack is secured to the tool before
beginning operation.

NOTICE: When placing the battery pack on the inator, be sure that the raised rib on battery pack
aligns with the groove on the inator and the latches snap into place properly. Improper assembly of
the battery pack can cause damage to internal components.
1b. To Detach Battery Pack
a. Press the On/Off Power Trigger (B) to
turn the inator Off.
b. Press the Battery-Release Buttons (R)
to release the battery.
c. Pack (See 1b). Pull forward on the
battery pack to remove it from the
inator.
