10 TROUBLESHOOTING GUIDE
WARNING : DISCONNECT THE MACHINE FROM MAIN POWER SUPPLY BEFORE TAKING ANY OF THE FOLLOWING
ACTIONS
P RO B L E M SYMPTOMS POSSIBLE CAUSE SOLUTION
TURBINE IS JAMMED
o Paper does not flow into the plastic bag
o The plastic waste bag does not inflate with
the turbine air pressure
°Shredded material is clogging turbine air
exit to the cyclone
See Sec. F –Fig.10
o Open the filter door (P)
o Undo the four knobs holding the
access hatch cover.
o Remove shredded material which
has clogged the turbine air exit
o Reinstall the hatch and tighten the
knobs and close filter bag door. Start
the Cyclone by following steps in
paragraph 4
o Filter bag is full o Replace filter bag
o A sheet of paper is clogging the filter
inlet located on top of the entry
opening of the shredding chamber
o Open first flap of the entry
opening and remove paper
clogging the top inlet of the filter
system
DUST FILTER SYSTEM DOES
NOT OPERATE PROPERLY
OR DOES NOT WORK
o Dust coming out from entry opening of the
shredding chamber
o Filter system motor does not work
o Check filter system fuse located in
the electrical panel behind the front
cover and metal plate.
o Check to confirm voltage is getting to
the filter system motor wires
o Replace filer system motor If not
functioning properly.
