10 TROUBLESHOOTING GUIDE
WARNING: DISCONNECT THE MACHINE FROM MAIN POWER SUPPLY BEFORE TAKING ANY OF THE
FOLLOWING ACTIONS
P R O B L E M SYMPTOMS POSSIBLE CAUSE SOLUTION
o Stand-by light signal is off o No power. Main switch in “0” position
o Check if the Cyclone is connected to
the main power supply
o Turn main switch to “I” position
o Stand-by light is on but no power o Fuses are blown
o Replace turbine motor fuses in the
main electrical panel board
o Automatic thermal protector is activated
o Machine has been used for long time
with Load Meter in RED AREA or
YELLOW AREA
o Leave the machine off for at least 5
minutes and then re-start the
machine
o Turbine main motor does not work while
vacuum system motor works
o Fuses are blown
o Turbine motor is burned
o Blades are blocked
o Replace turbine motor fuses in the
electrical panel board
o Replace turbine motor
o Open shredding chamber and
remove material blocking cutting
blades
o Filter system motor does not work
o Motor fuse is blown
o Motor is defective
o Replace motor fuse in electrical
panel
o Replace filter system motor
° Bag full electronic eyes are not aligned
(yellow Led on the electronic eyes is off)
o Electronic eyes PC board is faulty
o Emitter is damaged
o Receiver is damaged
o Electronic eyes are not aligned
o Replace electronic eyes
o Align electronic eyes
o Turbine main motor and filter system motor
do not work
o Emergency switch has been pressed
o Re-set emergency switch with the
dedicated key
MACHINE DOES NOT START
o Turbine motor does not work, vacuum
motor works and stand-by light is on
o Shredding chamber door is open
o Plastic waste bag is full (Red light on)
o Close shredding chamber door
o Replace plastic waste bag
