1.8.8 Optional Remote Engine Start
Connection
A remote start switch can be connected to the
generator set. Connect the engine start leads from a
remote start switch to terminals 3 and 4 on the terminal
block. See Figure 1-17. Route the engine start leads
through separate conduit from the AC accessory
power leads.

1. Remote engine start leads 3 and 4. Close the contact across 3 and 4 to start the generator set.
Open the contact to stop the generator set.
