Section 5 Generator/Relay Controller Troubleshooting
Use the following flow chart as an aid in troubleshooting
the main circuit board and the entire generator set. If the
prescribed remedy does not correct the problem,
replace the controller circuit board.

Is there voltage at the cyclic

Faulty relay.
Replace circuit board
D Load test battery

Defective relay. Replace
circuit board.

Move generator set Master
Switch to RUN position
Fault shutdown relay LED lit?
Crank/flash relay LED lit?
Verify that the crank/flash relay
is energized by checking for DC
voltage at the cyclic crank relay
or starter relay with the Master
switch in the RUN position
