This document is an owner's manual for Koldfront Through The Wall Air Conditioners with Supplemental Heater, covering models WTC8001W, WTC10001W, WTC12001W, and WTC14001W.

Function Description:

The Koldfront Through The Wall Air Conditioner is designed to provide cooling and supplemental heating for residential spaces. It is intended for installation into a compatible wall sleeve enclosure, which provides proper support and sealing. The unit features various operating modes including Cool, Heat, Auto, Fan Only, and Dry (dehumidifier). It also incorporates energy-saving features like Energy Saver mode and Sleep mode, as well as a programmable timer for auto start/stop functions. The unit is equipped with a Leakage-Current Detection and Interruption (LCDI) safety plug for fire protection.

    • Sleep Feature: Gradually adjusts the set temperature (increases for cooling, decreases for heating) by 2°F (1°C) over two 30-minute intervals, maintaining the new temperature for 6 hours before reverting to original settings.
    • Timer (Auto Start/Stop): Allows programming the unit to turn on or off at a specified time, adjustable in ½-hour increments up to 10 hours, and 1-hour increments up to 24 hours.
    • Check Filter Feature: An LED light illuminates after 250 hours of operation to remind the user to clean the air filter.
