Trouble Possible cause & check point Measures
Start button malfunctioning. •Switch wires disconnected
from start button socket.
•Wires (connectors)
disconnected on PCB unit.
•Start button defective.

Reconnect switch wires
properly to socket. (See

Check to see if PCB unit
wires (connectors) are all
connected. (See page 53.)

Replace start button as

Start button functioning,
but button lamp failure to
light up.
•Lamp wires disconnected
from start button socket, or
wrongly connected.
•Start button lamp (LED)
defective.

Reconnect lamp wires
properly to socket. (See

Check performance on

Replace start button as
