tointerfaceperipheraldevicessuchasUSBashdrives,portableharddisks,mouse
andkeyboard.
DedicatedUSBportsareprovidedforthe"Wake-uponUSB"functionality."Wake-up
onUSB"meansthatyoucanturnonthesonarsystembyactivatinganyUSBdevice
connectedtoacompatibleUSBport.
Thesocketssupporting"Wake-uponUSB"areidentiedontheconnectorlabel.
Tip
Ifyouchoosetoenablethe"Wake-uponUSB"functionality,itmaynotbeappropriate
fortheentiresonarsystemtostartupwhenyouaccidentallytouchtheoperatingpanel.
YoucanpreventthesonarprogramfromstartingwhentheProcessorUnitisturnedon.
Tostarttheprogram-andturnontheentiresonarsystem-youmustthendouble-click
thesonariconontheProcessorUnitdesktop.
Procedure
1RestarttheProcessorUnit.
2Duringthebootsequence,whenprompted,pressDELtorunthesetupprogram.
Observethattheprogramstarts.
Usethearrowkeysonthekeyboardtomovethecursor.
PressEscapeonthekeyboardtogoonestep"back".Insomesituations,Escapewill
attempttoclosetheBIOSsetupprogram.
3SelectAdvancedontheMainmenu.
4SelectUSBConguration.
5SetUSBS5Wake-upsupporttoEnabled.
6PressEscapetoreturntotheMainmenu.
7Savethechosenparameters,andexit.
