Specifications for Folding Printed Sheets
- Folding types: Z-Fold, Letter Fold-in, Letter Fold-out, Double Parallel,
Gate, Folding

- Paper weight:
- Z-Fold / Letter Fold-in / Letter Fold-out / Folding: 50 - 130 g/m

- Sheets placed on the post inserter can also be folded.
- Folding can be combined with the punching function.
- Normally folded or Z-folded sheets will be delivered to the FS-503 Finish-
er’s primary (main) tray / secondary (sub) tray or to the secondary (sub)
tray on the left side of FD-501 Folding unit.
- Using Letter fold-in, Letter fold-out, Double parallel, or Gate, the folded
sheets will be delivered only to the secondary (sub) tray on the left side
of FD-501 Folding unit.
- Number of folded sheets: max. 30 sheets

Reminder
Normally folded or Z-folded sheets will be delivered to FS-503 Finisher's
primary (main) tray / secondary (sub) tray or to the secondary (sub) tray
on the left side of FD-501 Folding unit. Using Letter fold-in, Letter fold-
out, Double parallel, or Gate, the folded sheets will be delivered only to
the secondary (sub) tray on the left side of FD-501 Folding unit.
Be careful not to exceed the capacity of each tray, otherwise unexpected
trouble may be caused.
