Confirm the access lamp is not lit. Turn off the camera and then disconnect the USB cable, if Kodak
EasyShare is installed, right click on the EasyShare icon on the task bar andquit the application
before disconnecting the camera.

To disconnect the camera, click once on the unplug-or-eject-hardware icon located on
the task bar. A small window opens indicating the device to be stopped.
Click on the small window to stop the device; the safe-to-remove-hardware message appears.
Disconnect the USB cable.
When more than one external device is connected to the
computer, repeat the procedure above except right click on the
unplug-or-eject-hardware icon to open the unplug-or-eject-
hardware window.
The hardware devices connected to the system are displayed.
Click the display-device-components check box. Highlight the
device to be stopped by clicking on it then click "Stop."
A confirmation screen appears to indicate the devices to be
stopped. Clicking "OK" stops the device.

The 'USB Mass Storage Device' ,-levite can now be safely
removed From the sysl:em,

The safe-to-remove-hardware message appears. Disconnect the
USB cable.

storage device icon and drop it into the trash. Disconnect the USB
cable.
