31. TV/Radio key: switches from TV channels to Radio channels and vice versa.
2. CONNECTION
WARNING: Connect the appliance to the mains only after making all the ne-
cessary connections. Make sure to have inserted the batteries in the remote
control, adjustments may only be necessary with the remote control. Refer
to the previous diagrams and images (Figure 2) for the identification of the
correct position of the sockets on the decoder.
Antenna connection
Connect the coaxial cable of the antenna connected to the wall socket with
the ANT IN socket (see Figure 2) on the back of the device.
Connection to the television
There are two way to connect the appliance to the television: through a
HDMI cable or a SCART cable (both cables are not included in the packing).
Choose the most appropriate one based on the TV. If the TV is equipped
with a HDMI socket, using it to have the maximum video and audio resolu-
tion being a digital output. The SCART cable (not included) must be inserted
in the proper socket on the television, following the correct polarity provided
by the shape of the connector, and in the socket on the rear of the appliance
(see Figure 2), automatically the television will show the home screen of the
decoder, once turned on.
