Turning the power on/o
The TUNER ON button, the DRUM ON
buon, and the RECORDER ON buon are
the Beat Boy’s power buon.
The power button is designed lower
than other buons so that the power is
not turned on involuntarily when the
Beat Boy is placed in your pocket or in a
bag. Press and hold the power buon for
a while to turn ON or OFF.
To turn the power on
Press either the TUNER ON buon, the DRUM
ON buon, or the RECORDER buon and the
power will turn on.
When the TUNER ON buon is pressed, the
tuner starts and “ ” will appear
on the display.
When the DRUM ON buon is pressed, the
drum machine starts and “ ”
will appear on the display.
When the RECORDER ON buon is pressed,
the recorder starts and “ ” will
appear on the display.
The Beat Boy can run the tuner, drum
machine, and recorder simultaneously.

The power for the Beat Boy will turn o when
the tuner, drum machine and recorder are
all turned o.
Turning the tuner o
When the tuner is in use, press the TUNER
ON buon to turn o the tuner.
Turning o the drum machine
When the drum machine is in use, press
the DRUM ON buon to turn o the drum
machine.
