Using the drum machine
Setting the drum pattern and tempo
1. Press the DRUM ON buon.
The “ ”, drum set, paern
number, tempo, and drum level will appear
on the display.
2. Press the DRUM PATTERN p, q buon
to select the drum paern.
Each time the GENRE buon is pressed,
you will move to the paern number of
the following genre’s top.

3. Press the START/STOP buon to start
the drum machine.
The display of the drum set varies
according to the tempo. The TAP TEMPO
buon will blink in time with this motion.
4. Press the TEMPO p, q buon to set
the tempo.
Pressing the TEMPO p, q buons will
increment or decrement the tempo through
the range of 30–252 in steps of one. The
value will change continuously if you hold
down the buon.
5. When adjusting the volume of the drum
machine to the input sound from the
INPUT jack or the internal mic, adjust it
with the D.LEVEL p, q buon.
Note: The D.LEVEL (drum level) sets the
relative drum volume to the INPUT jack,
the internal mic and the playback sound
for the track. Use the volume control to
adjust the global volume.
